Meet Dr. Aversa

About Us

Dr. Aversa is an optometric physician in Hasbrouck Heights providing complete eye care services for the whole family.

Dr. Aversa received his doctorate of optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1985 and subsequently completed his residency in ocular disease at the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center. He has been in practice for 30 years and founded Heights Eye Center in 1990. His practice is devoted to primary eye care with an emphasis in diagnosis and management of eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration. He also specializes in binocular vision dysfunction, chronic dry eye disease and gentle vision shaping system (GVSS) also known as orthokeratology.

Dr. Aversa works hard to stay current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care and regularly attends seminars and advanced training courses. His dedication to continuing education allows him to provide his patients with the most modern and progressive vision care available.

Dr. Aversa and his wife Kim entertain a busy social life with five children. In his free time Dr. Aversa enjoys being with his family and playing golf.
